Week 3

I have been eyeing some baby crafts. I would love to start them in hopes I would use them, but that will take persuading Mark that any future children will be healthy, sleep through the night from day 1, and very well behaved. But, a coworker is expecting.

Alrighty then, a project for her....
This is a changing kit that I found here. The inside is fleece and the outside is a heavier weight fabric. I wish it was a bit more compact, she could always tuck a onesie or change of clothes in there. I used a ribbon to tie around to keep shut instead of velcro.

Project 4 in the works...

Week 2

Week 2's project is courtesy of this blog. I ordered the supplies and whipped a few of these up in no time. Really simple stuff. (Now, may be a good time to tell you all that if you receive any of these things as gifts, act surprised!) I think these would be really cool with personalized ribbon.

So, tonight is the night. I am heading out in my white dress- complete with blue satin sash, hoping snowflakes stick to my nose and eyelashes, and maybe they will sell apple strudel at intermission. A girl can hope.

The Buffalo Is Out of the Girl

Holy macaroni, is it ever cold here! Growing up, we went sledding off the roof of our house. Now, I barely want to go outside. It. is. cold! I heard today that lots of snow was expected....for the weekend! Where is the justice? Sweet mother of pearl, please let it snow on a school night. Please let it snow alot. At least the cold will seem worthwhile.

I have eagerly been working on next week's project. I think I will do a few different ones, but be aware, the extra cast members may show up later in the year, if I get desperate.

Lastly, I am getting psyched for a big musical that I will be attending soon. Oh, you know what I am talking about. It's here (albeit, community theatre)! Hint below....

Just sign me,
Maria wannabe

52 Projects, 52 Weeks

This year, I resolve to attempt to finish 52 projects; one a week. Yeah, a bit ambitious. The first project is complete.

Whenever we head out to dinner, inevitably, there is a handful of cars on the bottom of my purse. So, I found this little number while searching some sites. (I can't remember which one, unfortunately.) A car caddy that folds up and has it's own road. O has been playing with it around the house and seems to get a kick out of it.

Project 1, complete. Only 51 more to go. And you know what?....I can't wait!
